I have come close to burnout in my career (years without a vacation might have had something to do with it).  See my preface to the NSPE Code for more details on just one of the frustrations.  Anyway, I have written a novel in order to help cope with the stress. It's sort of a combination of stuff I know about that seques into a sci-fi plot. No, there aren't any aliens, but there are conspiracies, action, explosions, disruptive technologies, a revolutionary secret, stupid bad guys, and a couple of friends who set out to work on a project car and end up changing the world.
